I know I’m not the only one who’s been stuck three days before a special occasion wishing I’d worked out a few extra minutes and maybe skipped out on the cookies that week. I especially notice bloating and extra puffiness days before I have to walk in a fashion show or have studio time scheduled. Even though people say they don’t notice a difference (and they’re probably right) it can totally kill your confidence to feel super bloated. One of the things I do when I don’t have much time left before an event is to drink fresh lime water. This only works if you squeeze the juice and pulp of real limes into water. Bonus effect for hot lime water. I do this two to three days before a show or event and it truly works like magic. You can also do this if you’re having a hard time kicking cravings for sweets. I usually use about 3-4 limes per day during this time off setting one glass of lime water with a glass of just regular water. You still eat food! This is super important!!! EAT woman, eat! Just make sure its clean foods that your body can process and won’t add extra salt into your system. Salt = bloating.
